Naaz Rashid is a Lecturer in Media and Cultures at the University of Sussex. She is the author of 'Veiled threats: representing the Muslim woman in public policy discourses'. She researches on race, ethnicity and postcolonial Studies, gender, representation of Muslims in policy and media, gendered Islamophobia, gender violence, urban sociology and creative food industries.
