Kuan-Hsing Chen 陳光興is Executive Director of Inter-Asia School, and Professor in the Institute for Social Research and Cultural Studies at Chiao Tung University. A writer, editor, interviewer, reporter, curator, karaoke singer, iPhone photographer and chef, he has organized many activities across different part of Asia. A long term visiting professor in Asia, Africa and America, and co-editor Stuart Hall: Critical Dialogues in Cultural Studies, and the author of Towards Deimperialization–Asia as Method (Korean, Chinese, English, Japanese, and Thai editions), he is co-executive editor of Inter-Asia Cultural Studies: Movements and Rejian Thought Review. After West Heaven: India-China Social Thought Dialogues, Asian Circle of Thought Summit, Inter-Asia Arts Biennale Series, and Bandung/Third World Sixty Years, he has recently participated in imagining the Third World Action imagining “Another World —Decolonizing the Earth: for a grounded global intellectual movement” .
