Jean-Paul Martinon is a writer based in London. He is currently Programme Leader of the MPhil/PhD in Visual Cultures in the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths College, University of London. He was the co-founder and curator of Rear Window, an independent arts trust that staged a series of exhibitions and conferences in temporary sites across London during the 1990s. He writes in an attempt to make sense of time: its staging in museums, its advent, its gender, and the way it is used to structure human life.
