Friedrich von Bose is lecturer and research associate at the Department of European Ethnology and the Center for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies at Humboldt University, Berlin. His involvement with questions of (post-)coloniality, of racialized and gendered knowledge production in both past and present contexts is driven by the search for possibilities of disrupting the established regimes knowledge and visuality. These questions also inform his PhD project, in which he enquires into the culture political logics behind the “making of” the Humboldt-Forum on Berlin’s historical palace square.
